Clinical Interests:

I specialize in working with children through young adults who have experienced diverse traumatic experiences. I also work with individuals who experience anxiousness and/or depressive symptoms. My clinical interests expand to include early adulthood transitions, family systems, trauma recovery and trans generational trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

Clinical Approach:

I prefer to use a client centered approach that utilizes individual client’s strengths and resources. I am an EMDR trained clinician and frequently incorporate this framework into my practice. I believe that trauma must be addressed both cognitively and physically. I also incorporate other evidenced based approaches to healing including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and the Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency Treatment Framework (ARC). I enjoy working with each client to develop goals they feel are achievable and are motivate them to grow and heal.

Hobbies:

I enjoy anything on the water; boating, skiing, swimming! I also enjoy golfing and biking. I beat the winter cold by downhill skiing. My personal favorite thing to do is coach dance or attend dance events.
