More About Rana Hussein
Clinical Interests:
I am passionate about providing client-centered, strengths-based support to individuals navigating life’s challenges. My clinical interests include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, life transitions, and stress management. I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients improve emotional regulation, manage distress, build stronger relationships, and develop greater self-awareness.
My approach is person-centered and practical, incorporating CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies to help clients develop coping skills and feel more in control of their well-being. I also enjoy working in community-based settings, supporting individuals as they work toward stability and personal growth.
As I continue growing in my practice, I look forward to expanding my expertise in evidence-based interventions and mindfulness-based approaches to support my clients’ overall well-being better.
Clinical Approach:
I take a collaborative and client-centered approach, tailoring each session to fit the unique needs and goals of my clients. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their thoughts and emotions while building practical coping strategies.
I integrate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused strategies, to help clients develop emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective problem-solving skills. My approach emphasizes skill-building, self-awareness, and empowerment, ensuring that clients feel equipped to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. My goal is to support clients in developing resilience, improving their mental health, and making meaningful progress toward their goals.
Hobbies:
In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking, always looking for new recipes to try or ways to make meals healthier. I also love spending time with my family and friends, especially playing and learning with my son, which keeps me busy and constantly amazed by his growth. I’m a fan of Pilates and Zumba, which help me stay active and recharge. When I get the chance, I love exploring new activities and hobbies that help me unwind and connect with others, whether that’s trying out a new recipe, taking a long walk, traveling, or enjoying a good movie or show. I also enjoy spiritual reflection and moments of peace that help me stay grounded and connected to my faith.
