Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
We accept most insurance plans! Our intake team will also make sure you get set up with a provider who is in-network with your insurance and our billing team will verify coverage. Please contact the number on the back of your insurance card for your specific policy’s mental health coverage.
Our registration staff will work with patients to determine the best fit based on the patient’s concerns, insurance, and provider availability. Appointments typically last just under one hour, and the frequency of appointments is determined based on the patient’s needs.
Therapy is a safe and supportive space where you can talk about what’s on your mind, explore your feelings, and work through challenges. In session, you’ll sit down with a trained therapist who will listen to you without judgment. The therapist will help guide the conversation and offer insights or techniques to help you better understand yourself and make positive changes in your life.
Choosing a therapist is about finding someone you feel comfortable with and trust. Start by considering what you want to work on in therapy. Then, look for a therapist who has experience in that area. And if you meet for a session or two and it’s not a good fit, you can always switch therapists.
It’s important to feel comfortable with your therapist. If after a couple of sessions it doesn’t feel like a good fit, that’s okay! No therapist will take this personally. You can just let us know, and we’ll find you another therapist who better meets your needs.
Therapy is different for everyone, so the length of time can vary. Some people may feel better after just a few sessions, while others might continue therapy for several months or longer. It depends on your goals, the challenges you’re working on, and how comfortable you feel with the process. Your therapist will work with you to create a plan that suits your needs, and you can always discuss your progress and adjust the timeline as you go.
