Before Your Appointment

Please make sure you…

  • Have the video link in your email or text messages (Give us a call if you don’t have this!) 
  • Are in a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed 
  • Have a strong internet connection 
  • Have a working camera and microphone on your device (phone, laptop, tablet) 
  • Connect 5 minutes before your appointment starts 
  • Please make sure your computer or mobile device is running the latest operating system and/or browser is within 2 versions of the current version.

To Join Your Appointment

  1. Click the link in your email or text reminder 5 minutes before your appointment starts.

  2. If prompted, give Zoom access to your camera and microphone.

  3. You’ll be placed in a waiting room until the provider is ready.

Having Trouble Connecting?

It may be because you haven’t given Zoom the permission it needs to use your camera and microphone. Try these steps depending on what you’re using.

Mobile Devices

For Apple Devices
  1. Open Settings:
    • Go to the “Settings” app on your device.
  2. Find Your Browser:
    • Scroll down and select your browser (e.g., Safari, Chrome).
  3. Enable Camera and Microphone:
    • Tap on the browser name.
    • Toggle the switches for “Camera” and “Microphone” to allow access.
For Android Devices
  1. Open Settings:
    • Go to the “Settings” app on your device.
  2. Find Apps:
    • Tap on “Apps” or “Applications.”
  3. Select Your Browser:
    • Scroll and find your browser (e.g., Chrome).
  4. Permissions:
    • Tap on “Permissions.”
    • Ensure “Camera” and “Microphone” permissions are enabled.

Desktop & Laptop Instructions

Google Chrome
  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click the three dots (menu) in the upper-right corner.
  3. Go to “Settings.”
  4. Click on “Privacy and security.”
  5. Click on “Site settings.”
  6. Under “Permissions,” click “Camera” or “Microphone.”
  7. Toggle the switch to allow sites to ask for access.
Microsoft Edge
  1. Open Edge.
  2. Click the three dots (menu) in the upper-right corner.
  3. Go to “Settings.”
  4. Click on “Cookies and site permissions.”
  5. Under “Site permissions,” click “Camera” or “Microphone.”
  6. Toggle the switch to ask before accessing.
Safari (Mac)
  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click “Safari” in the menu bar at the top.
  3. Select “Settings” or “Preferences.”
  4. Go to the “Websites” tab.
  5. In the left-hand column, select “Camera” or “Microphone.”
  6. Set permissions for websites listed on the right.
